Cookie Policy

What cookies we use and how to manage them.

Last updated: 31 March 2026Effective: 1 April 2026

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They are widely used by website operators to make websites work efficiently, to improve performance, and to provide information to the website owner.

Cookies contain a small amount of data — often including a unique identifier — that is sent from the web server to your browser and stored on your device. On subsequent visits, your browser sends this data back to the server, allowing the website to recognise your device and recall preferences or session state.

In addition to traditional cookies, we may use related technologies such as:

  • localStorage / sessionStorage: Browser storage mechanisms used to persist data (such as your cookie consent preference) locally on your device without sending it back to our server on every request.
  • Web Beacons / Pixels: Tiny transparent images embedded in pages or emails that allow us to understand whether an action has been taken (e.g., whether an email was opened).
  • Device Fingerprinting: We do not use device fingerprinting.

This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides more detail on how we handle personal data more broadly.

Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following reasons:

  • Essential Website Operation: Some cookies are strictly necessary to enable core Website functionality — such as maintaining your session while you navigate between pages or remembering form progress. Without these, parts of our Website cannot function.
  • Analytics & Performance: We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our Website — which pages are most visited, how long sessions last, where users come from, and which content resonates. This helps us improve the Website experience.
  • Preference & Consent Memory: We use localStorage to remember your cookie consent choice so we do not prompt you on every visit. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Security: Certain session tokens help us protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and other attacks.

We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site behavioural tracking, or the creation of advertising profiles. We do not sell cookie-derived data to third parties.

Our use of cookies is governed by the GDPR ePrivacy Directive (EU Directive 2002/58/EC as amended by 2009/136/EC), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), and applicable Indian data protection law. Where required, we obtain your prior consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Types of Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Website to function and cannot be disabled. They do not collect personal data for marketing purposes. Examples include session management cookies that keep you logged in during a visit.

Under the GDPR ePrivacy Directive and PECR, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement; however, we still disclose them here in the interest of transparency.

Analytics & Performance Cookies

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve our Website's performance. All information collected by analytics cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you decline these cookies, we will not know when you visited our Website, and we will not be able to monitor its performance.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymisation enabled. This means the last octet of your IP address is masked before storage. We have signed a Data Processing Addendum with Google LLC to ensure GDPR-compliant processing.

We also use Vercel Analytics, which is a privacy-first analytics solution. Vercel Analytics is designed to operate without cookies where possible and does not build individual user profiles across sessions.

Preference Cookies

We store your cookie consent decision in your browser's localStorage under the key increeks_cookie_consent. This is technically not a cookie (it is not transmitted to our server automatically), but serves a similar purpose. It stores only your consent choice (accepted / declined / categories chosen) and a timestamp. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using our consent banner reset option.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Website are set by third-party services that appear on our pages. We have no direct control over the information these third parties collect via their cookies. We encourage you to review the privacy and cookie policies of any third-party services you encounter on our Website.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is operated by Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for EEA/UK users), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google processes analytics data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We have:

  • Enabled IP anonymisation (IP masking) in all GA4 configurations.
  • Signed a Data Processing Addendum with Google to govern GDPR-compliant processing.
  • Disabled data sharing with Google advertising products.
  • Set data retention in GA4 to 14 months (the minimum available).

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Vercel Analytics

Our Website is hosted on Vercel Inc.'s infrastructure. Vercel Analytics is privacy-by-design and does not use persistent cookies to track individual users across sessions. Data is aggregated and anonymised. For more information, see Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Managing Your Preferences

You have several options for managing or disabling cookies. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect Website functionality.

Our Consent Banner

When you first visit our Website, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Preferences” link in the Website footer.

Browser Controls

All modern browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Here is how to access cookie controls in major browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. You can block third-party cookies, clear all cookies, or set exceptions per site.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Firefox also offers Enhanced Tracking Protection to block trackers automatically.
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Safari blocks cross-site tracking by default. You can also prevent all cookies or manage exceptions.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. Edge offers Balanced and Strict tracking prevention presets.

Clearing localStorage

To reset your stored cookie consent preference, open your browser's Developer Tools (usually F12 or right-click → Inspect), navigate to the Application or Storage tab, select “Local Storage” for our Website, and delete the entry named increeks_cookie_consent. On your next visit, the consent banner will appear again.

Opt-Out Tools

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.

At present, our Website does not alter its behaviour in response to DNT signals, because there is no consistent industry standard for interpretation. We continue to monitor developments in this area and will update our practices if a recognised standard emerges.

Regardless of DNT signals, you can always manage your cookie preferences through our consent banner or your browser settings as described above.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies, legal requirements, or available technologies. When we make significant changes, we will:

  • Update the “Last Updated” and “Effective Date” fields at the top of this page.
  • Display a notice on our Website for at least 30 days after a material change.
  • Where required by law, reset consent preferences so that you are prompted to review and accept the updated cookie categories.

We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies. Your continued use of our Website after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acknowledgement of the updated Policy.
